If your looking for a healthy no sugar apple cinnamon oats baked then these are the perfect breakfast to start your autumn mornings with. These baked oats are filled with warm, comforting flavors like red apples, cinnamon are so delicious and meal-prep friendly which is a bonus for us mommas. These baked oats is perfect for a quick breakfast and pairs well with a drizzle of nut butter on top. Yum!
Depending on the size of the baking dish you’re using, you may have to adjust the oats to liquid ratio. Generally you want the liquid just covering the oats. I baked the oats for roughly 30 minutes and then broiled for 1-2 minutes just to brown the crumble on top. Adjust the baking time to your preference!
Ingredients
- 100g porridge oats
- 1 red apple
- -1 tsp baking powder
- -2 tbsp maple syrup/ honey
- -1/3 cup oat milk
- 2 eggs
- -1 tsp cinnamon
- -1 tsp nutmeg
- mix all ingredients together & blend into a smooth batter, then bake
You can also had melted peanut butter which taste so yummy and for some extra topping you can add pecans & raisins to give it that delicious natural sweetness. How about raspberries and a teaspoon of vanilla extract? Cherries and a little ground almonds?
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 190c and spray 2 small baking casseroles with baking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the oats, almond flour, cinnamon, baking powder, milk, honey or pure maple syrup, flaxseed or chia seeds, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well-combined.
- Add in the dried fruits and 3/4 of the diced apples. Pour mixture into your prepared baking dish and top with the remaining diced apples and other add-ons.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the center is no longer wet and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the baked oatmeal cool down before serving. Top with sliced apples and with a drizzle of your favorite nut butter.
