1. Assess Your Needs:
Determine what areas of your home require regular cleaning and how frequently they need attention. Focus on the main areas like the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. I know for me it is always the kitchen and the bathroom so I always focus those to and then I work my work up to the living room an the bedrooms.
2. Prioritise Tasks:
It is always good to make a list of all the essential cleaning tasks and prioritise them first. For example, daily tasks might include dishes and tidying up, while weekly tasks could involve vacuuming and mopping floors. Break down your cleaning tasks into manageable chunks and specific tasks to each day of the week. This way, you can spread out the workload and avoid feeling overwhelmed by trying to do everything at once.
3.Set Realistic Goals:
Be realistic about what you can accomplish within your available time and energy. Don’t overload your schedule with too many tasks in one day. What I normally do is write down in my note pad what I need to do first and I like to set a timer to which helps me know how much time I have. You’ll be amazed at how much you can get done when you’re racing against the clock!
4. Invest in Time-Saving Tools:
Upgrade your cleaning arsenal with tools and gadgets that can help streamline your routine. From robotic vacuums to microfiber cloths, investing in the right tools can save you time and energy in the long run.
5: Stay Organised:
Keep cleaning supplies and tools organised and easily accessible so you can quickly grab what you need when it’s time to clean I make sure I keep mine under the sink . Invest in storage solutions like baskets, bins, and caddies to corral clutter and keep your cleaning supplies in order.

Whether it’s folding laundry while watching TV or wiping down kitchen counters while waiting for dinner to cook, finding ways to sneak in cleaning tasks throughout the day can help you stay on top of chores without sacrificing family time.
7: Listening to Music
I love listening to music while Im cleaning, it always relaxes me when I feel overwhelm. It is always good to get creative with your cleaning playlist by crafting themed playlists for different tasks. Feeling nostalgic while dusting? or 80s power ballads. Whatever it takes to keep you feeling motivated while your cleaning your whole house.
8. Create a Vision Board:
Get inspired for spring cleaning by creating a vision board of your dream home. Fill it with images of tidy closets, sparkling countertops, and perfectly organised pantries to keep you motivated as you tackle your own cleaning challenges. I love using Pinterest as thats where I tend to finding some amazing ideas.
9. Work from Top to Bottom:
When cleaning each room, start at the top and work your way down. Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, and shelves before vacuuming or mopping the floors. This way, any dust that falls will be cleaned up last.
10. Take Before and After Photos
Document your spring cleaning with before and after photos to showcase your hard work. Share them on social media for some virtual high-fives and words of encouragement from friends and family. I’am always taking photos before and after. It also helps you track down everything.
Remember, spring cleaning doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun and rewarding experience with the right attitude and a little creativity. So grab your mop and bucket, put on your favorite playlist, and let’s get cleaning!
